MTA NSW Welcomes New Team Members
The MTA NSW welcomes on board four new team members to bolster the growing Membership support team.
Manager Retention and Membership Sales – Wayne Pickering
Wayne joins the Operations Department in a newly created position of Manager Retention and Membership Sales where the primary focus will be to support, coach and mentor the Area Managers in all operational aspects of supporting our Member’s needs and strengthening the membership base.
Having spent nearly 28 years with one of Australia’s leading automotive brand - Toyota, Wayne is an accomplished Sales Manager, and will bring with him extensive expertise gained while working within Parts & Accessories Sales, Product Development & Management, Dealership Operations & Customer Service Divisions.
Wayne’s experience although diverse comes with a clear focus towards service, aftersales, collision and mechanical parts. Wayne has a good understanding of the challenges that the repair industry is currently facing and in turn the potential pitfalls for consumers due to a lack of education from the insurers’ specific to the “user chooser” environment.
Wayne’s professional success has come as a result of his commitment and dedication to achieve challenging objectives, through problem-solving, embracing/driving change and a result-oriented mindset.
Wayne joins the MTA at a time when the Association is looking to grow and strengthen its membership base and improve its service offering to the members and consumers of our services.
Area Manager - Adriano Vallelonga
Adriano comes from a mechanical trade foundation, and has successfully worked his way up through 20+ years in
numerous areas of automotive to a Senior Service Manager for a Mercedes Benz dealership. Adriano is passionate about everything to do with Automotive and is 100% dedicated to improving our Members experience and support.
Area Manager - Martin Lomm
Martin has decades of experience working as a Territory Manager for a diverse range of businesses, and he understands the importance of effective communication and maintaining membership relationships. Martin is very passionate about providing outstanding support to his Members.
Area Manager - Adam Sharpe
Martin previously worked for MTA NSW for many years as a trainer and mentor to our Members, and more recently as the NSW Account Manager for Club Assist where he developed and managed relationships with major clients. He is well informed about much of the Automotive Divisions and the challenges we experience and will add great value to the Field team.
These four gentlemen have been recruited specifically to increase the breadth of automotive experience and presence in the field across all of NSW, and along with the existing team are dedicated to lifting the level of physical support for all our Members and plan to ensure that we meet and exceed all expectations in 2018.
