Grant funding for your QLD business

The Office of Small Business is currently managing two grant programs that can provide financial assistance to Queensland businesses that meet specific criteria. MTA Queensland encourages businesses within the automotive industry to investigate the grants and apply!

Of particular interest may be the Small Business Digital Grants Program (round two) which opened Wednesday 8 March and closes 10th April 2017.

This grant provides matched funding of up to $10,000 (excluding GST) to eligible businesses for the purchase of hardware, software and services such as digital coaching. To be eligible, businesses must show that technology or services purchased will enhance the digital capabilities of the business.

Dr Brett Dale, Group CEO for MTA Group said, “The grants could be instrumental in anchoring and growing a small business. This is a great opportunity for Queensland, small, automotive businesses to obtain technology and digital services that will develop and grow their digital presence. Creating a strong online presence with a modern interactive website, developing an online shop or utilising the benefits of social media marketing, could be the key to reaching the next level of growth. Purchasing mobile IT products like laptops and I pads may enable a business to enter a phase of business development.”

An additional grant program offered by the Office of Small Business is:

Accelerate Small Business Grants Program
The Queensland Government is matching funding up to $10,000 (excluding GST) for the Accelerate Small Business Grants Program over 3 years to established Queensland-based small businesses to engage an advisory board or independent advisor, for between 6 – 12 months.
